TWOS
Our nurturing setting allows toddlers to reach their development milestones while learning about the world around them.
PRESCHOOL
As children further build a foundation for kindergarten, they lay the groundwork for high level skill development.
EARLY KINDERGARTEN
We prepare Early-k's for kindergarten through engaging and stimulating educational activities. Our curriculum focuses on the five key points of early education, meeting each child where they are.
Education:
The Reggio Emilia Approach
Tree of Life Childcare Center uses the Creative Tree Curriculum. It is rooted in literacy and comprehension. We teach our students that learning takes place inside and outside of the classroom, in imaginative and unconventional ways.
Our Reggio Emilia inspired curriculum builds on learning through exploration and self discovery in formal, as well as informal settings.
Research shows that repetition and real life application leads to better understanding. Our lessons of the day are repeated throughout the day and we continue to build on the lesson for the duration of the week.
Physical:
Growth and Health
All of our students are supported and encouraged to be independent little beings. We take a proactive role in the physical development of our students. All students engage in activities that challenge motor skills, hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Many new skills are being developed between the age ranges from infancy to five years old as a result of brain growth. Our teachers help form the link between our students and the world/environment that surrounds them. We here at Tree of Life, have a deep understanding of the physical developmental milestones for each age. Your child will engage in meaningful play and sensory discovery that will develop both gross and fine motor skills.
See For Yourself
We invite you to schedule a tour of our center and see firsthand the love and learning that happens every day. During your visit, you'll have the opportunity to explore our vibrant classrooms, meet our staff, and learn more about our curriculum tailored to each child's developmental stage.
Character:
The Essentials
Social skills and emotional awareness are very important skills that need to be shaped during these early years. We teach our students to take ownership of their voice, to cope and recover from disappointment and how to thrive in group settings. When children are supported and encouraged, their confidence grows.
Teaching social and emotional awareness is such an important aspect of learning. Our educators are trained to focus on supporting that development through positive reinforcement which builds your child’s confidence.
ACTIVITIES
We incorporate Education, Physical and Character Development into each daily lesson. Through the use of fun activities, students remain stimulated and engaged throughout the day.
