What is your sick child policy?We check your child’s temperature upon entering the childcare facility, any child with a low grade fever of 99.4 degrees or higher will not be allowed to attend class that day. It needs to be a full 24 hours without fever before they can return to school.

Does your childcare center have a nap time?Yes.

Does my child need to bring breakfast? Lunch?No, your child will not need to bring breakfast or lunch, it is provided for them.

What is your curriculum?Our curriculum is based on the Reggio Emilia approach and is aptly named the Creative Tree Curriculum. Please visit our Curriculum and Classes page to learn more about our Creative Tree Curriculum.

What days of the year are you closed?All major federal holidays. If the center has any other scheduled closings, all parents will be given notice in advance.

What is the teacher-student ratio in your classrooms?The teacher-student varies by age group. Infants & Toddlers 1:4 or 5 Preschool & Early K 1:8 to 10

Do you have cameras?Yes, both indoors and outside.

Do you have a payment schedule?Yes.

Does my child need to be potty trained?No, our educators provide potty training to any student who shows signs that they are ready.

What are your fees?Please visit our Contact page schedule a tour and we can discuss fees with you in person. We also accept CCAP and military child care assistance payments. The Tree of Life Childcare center has staff specifically to assist you with your applications for assistance if you are unsure about the process.

Do you offer drop in childcare services?We do not offer drop in childcare services.

Are you licensed?Yes, Tree of Life Childcare Center is fully licensed through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services. We happily submit to ongoing compliance and monitoring from the state of Illinois.

Can I do half a day enrollment, part time enrollment, only half a week enrollment?We offer Full-Time Enrollment only.

What are your hours?We are Monday through Friday, from 6:30 am to 5pm.

Do your meals accommodate certain food allergies?Yes! We absolutely can accommodate most food allergies. Visit our health and safety page for more info.
